Maryland Center was created in 1996 to develop commercial relationship
between Maryland and China. Sponsored by the Maryland Department
of Business and Economic Development (DBED), in collaboration
with private-sector members of the Maryland business community,
Maryland Center represents the State of Maryland's interest in
the expanding market of China
Over the years, Maryland Center has established relationships
and been promoting cooperation and exchange with China's national
and provincial authorities and business leaders to encourage and
assist more Maryland companies to consider expansion into the
China market, and more Chinese companies to establish their business
presence in the State of Maryland.
By joining Maryland Center, Maryland companies can now establish
their corporate presence in China by sharing resources with the
State of Maryland China Office and other Maryland organizations
interested in China
