Maryland Center was created in 1996 to develop commercial relationship between Maryland and China. Sponsored by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED), in collaboration with private-sector members of the Maryland business community, Maryland Center represents the State of Maryland's interest in the expanding market of China

Over the years, Maryland Center has established relationships and been promoting cooperation and exchange with China's national and provincial authorities and business leaders to encourage and assist more Maryland companies to consider expansion into the China market, and more Chinese companies to establish their business presence in the State of Maryland.

美国马里兰中心（以下简称中心）创建于1996年，旨在促进马里兰州与中国在经济、贸易、科技、文化、教育等方面的交流与合作。中心由马里兰州政府赞助，与马里兰州工商各界密切合作，成为沟通马里兰州与日益扩大的中国市场的桥梁。

多年来，中心与中国各级政府企业界建立了广泛的联系与合作，为马里兰企业来华拓展业务提供积极的指导和帮助。同时中心致力于鼓励更多中国企业赴马里兰开拓海外业务。
